Kids love their spring vacations. Taking a break from classes and homework, sunshine, going out, vacationing, are the reasons they wait for spring vacations the whole year.


Happily, there is no lack of fun places to take the kiddos, which is one of the many reasons, aside from incredible weather and top performing schools, why Miami, FL is a great place to raise kids.


So, let us reveal the best places to take your kids this spring.



Zoo Miami

It is the oldest zoological garden in Florida, with natural habitats for a stunning collection of wildlife.

It is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and offers numerous activities such as animal feeding, animal encounter, etc. Parking and tickets for children under two and zoo members are free. For children from 3 to 12, a ticket costs $18.95, and for 13+, it is $22.95.





With its planetarium and aquarium, your kids will explore everything from marine life to the solar system.

On Monday & Tuesday, visit it from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On Wednesday & Thursday, the timing is 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Opening and closing times are 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM on Friday and weekends respectively. Museum members and children enjoy free entry while it costs $24.95 and $29.95 for children from 4-11 and adults, respectively.




Visit the Miami Children's Museum to explore everything from arts, culture, and science. Children can enjoy a two-hour play session from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The General Admission costs $22, but Florida residents enjoy a discount, paying only $15. Memberships are also available at $125 for grandparents with 6 children under 18, $150 for a 6-member family having 2 adults and 4 children under 18, and $175 for a 6-member family with an occasional guest.


The stunning and historic Venetian pool should be on your list this spring. The Coral Gables children from 3 to 12 pay $5.50 for the ticket, and 13+ pay $6.50. Non-resident children from 3 to 12 pay $16 for a ticket while 13+ pay $21. You can check their opening and closing schedule here.


Connect with nature and agriculture by visiting the stunning Tinez Farms. It opens on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 AM - 7 PM. For children from 2-12, the ticket costs $12, and for the rest, it sets you back $15. Here are some of their exciting upcoming spring events:

Spring Sensory on March 19th & 20th at 11 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:45 PM, and 4 PM.

Spring Crafts on March 26th at 12:00 PM.

The Exotic Animals Show on March 27th at 2 PM.


Giant inflatable bunnies will take over Pinecrest Gardens, come see them! The exhibit is for kids and adults of all ages. Enjoy a What's Up Doc cocktail or mocktail! Check the schedule of events for nights where there will be yoga, silent disco, movie night and brews!


Visit the Sawgrass Recreational Park to have a thrilling and adventurous experience. They have different packages that suit everyone's needs. Do not miss the Airboat rides every 20 minutes from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Tickets range from $24.95 to $317.
